Mail server

Deploys certificates through the FortiMail command line, as its REST API cannot upload certificates.

The appliance runs the package and drives the Fortinet FortiMail command line over SSH on port 22. No agent is installed on the device.

What happens

  1. The appliance connects to the Fortinet FortiMail command line over SSH, port 22.
  2. The CA chain, certificate and key are uploaded through the command line.
  3. The certificate becomes the default-certificate and httpd and smtpd are reloaded. If it fails: Rollback puts the previous default-certificate back and reloads.
  4. Verification: the package fetches the certificate from the HTTPS admin and optionally SMTPS, IMAPS and POP3S.
