Cloud service

Creates or replaces the certificate in Google Cloud Certificate Manager.

The appliance runs the package and connects to Google Cloud Certificate Manager through Google Cloud API over HTTPS on port 443. No agent is installed on Google Cloud Certificate Manager.

What happens

  1. The appliance connects to Google Cloud Certificate Manager through Google Cloud API on port 443.
  2. The certificate is created or replaced. A replacement deletes and creates again, so there can be a short gap. If it fails: Rollback uses the previous certificate and key from the appliance, as Google Cloud does not hand out earlier keys.
  3. Verification: the package checks that the certificate exists.
