Storage and virtualisation

Replaces the certificate on the web services of a data SVM.

The appliance runs the package and connects to NetApp ONTAP through ONTAP REST API over HTTPS on port 443. No agent is installed on NetApp ONTAP.

What happens

  1. The appliance connects to NetApp ONTAP through ONTAP REST API on port 443.
  2. The certificate and key are uploaded as a new server certificate.
  3. The SVM's web services are bound to the new certificate. If it fails: Rollback puts the previous binding back from the backup.
  4. Verification: the package checks that the SVM uses the new certificate.
