Replaces the certificate and key in the WebLogic identity keystore with keytool.

The service agent on the server fetches the task from the appliance over outbound HTTPS on port 443 and installs the certificate locally on the server. The appliance never connects to the server.

What happens

  1. The service agent on the server fetches the task from the appliance over outbound HTTPS, port 443.
  2. The package backs up the keystore and replaces the alias in a copy.
  3. The copy is checked and replaces the live keystore. If it fails: Rollback puts the keystore back from the backup.
  4. Restart the managed server, or reload the keystore with your own procedure. The package does not restart WebLogic.
